ABOUT CASA BLANCA
Casa Blanca is a unique experience allowing you to access nearby beach communities, but primarily designed for an escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It is a time to sit back, relax and let the peaceful sounds of the ocean and surrounding jungle show you the Pura Vida of Costa Rica.
ON THE INSIDE
Casa Blanca is a two story home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Located on the main level is the living area, full kitchen, half bathroom and access to the covered patio and infinity pool.
Located on the 2nd level are all 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms:
- 1 king bedroom with ensuite bathroom
- 1 queen bedroom
- 1 bunk bedroom
- 1 full bathroom shared by the queen bedroom and bunk bedroom.
Each of the bedrooms and bathrooms are labeled in the photos. All three bedrooms have air conditioning, floor to ceiling windows/doors and access to the covered balcony with views of both the ocean and jungle.
ON THE OUTSIDE
The property is spacious with plenty of room for parking in front at the entrance to the home. On the backside, main level of the home is the private infinity pool with a shallow end for little ones, covered patio with seating, loungers and views of the ocean and jungle. On the backside, 2nd level of the home is a covered balcony with seating that is accessible from all three bedrooms. An outdoor shower is also located on the backside, main level for rinsing off after your return from the secluded beach located on the finca property a short drive from the home.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Casa Blanca is located in a beautiful, gated finca (ranch) approximately 3 km south of Garza in the lush Guanacaste Province on the Nicoya Peninsula. Identified as one of five original blue zones, the Nicoya Peninsula is known for being one of the longest-living populations attributed to the healthy living, community and culture of the area.
Once you pass through the entrance gate, you'll experience a scenic drive through the finca property where you will likely see much of the local flora and fauna including pizotes, howler monkeys and iguanas.
After your reservation is confirmed a member of our team will be in touch with you to help finalize all the little details, such as booking transportation to/from the airport, scheduling activities, yoga classes, massages, pre arrival grocery services, private chef recommendations and more.
THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT CASA BLANCA
You will need to rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay at Casa Blanca. The road to the property is maintained, but it is a dirt road that is not passable by cars or other low clearance vehicles. This home is not suitable for a golf cart rental.
Internet is provided by Starlink. It works well for the area, but can be spotty at times during extremely heavy rain storms.
We have set the minimum night stay at 5 nights as we feel that it is difficult to enjoy the property for less than this amount of time. If you are interested in the property, but unable to stay 5 nights, please let us know and we are happy to see if we can accommodate a shorter stay.
LOCAL QUIRKS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While the infrastructure in Costa Rica is improving, it is highly likely that you will experience dust, bugs, mold, power, water and internet outages at some point during your stay. We consider it part of the fun of experiencing another country and culture. All of these issues are beyond the control of the homeowner and the management company and may come without advance notice. If having internet access is imperative during your visit, we recommend you research internet data plans available to you through your cellular provider. The septic system in the Nosara area does not permit flushing of toilet paper with few exceptions. If you have any questions at all, please ask us in advance of booking your stay as refunds and concessions will not be given for any of the reasons above as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager.
