Casa Vidrio is a unique, A-framed home. Guests will appreciate the spacious porch where they can take in the fresh morning air, dine at the bench-style table or relax in a bean bag lounger after a full day of fun. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Walk up the stairs, set down your bags, and take in the jungle’s sights and sounds! Modern simplicity meets jungle tree houses to create a tranquil living space that feels like a home away from home.

The main living space is an open floor plan shared by the kitchen and living room. It’s made of local teak wood with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. The living area is simply furnished with a sectional couch where you can enjoy post-sun downtime, read a good book, play games, or watch a movie on your tablet.

There is a small apartment attached to the main house with separate access included in the rental of the main house.

The kitchen is fully stocked and remodeled with bar-height seating, marble countertops, and full-size stainless steel appliances.

Bringing a bigger group? The property has two additional apartments available for rent, each with its own entrance. The units share access to the swimming pool. Amazing quiet location!

Located in the popular K section of Playa Guiones, guests can walk to Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort and the Baker’s Beach entrance of Playa Guiones within 10 minutes and town in Playa Guiones in 15 minutes. Transportation is recommended.

BOOKING DISCLOSURE: There is construction next to the property, so you will experience construction noise during your stay. 

LOCAL QUIRKS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While the infrastructure in Costa Rica is improving, it is highly likely that you will experience dust, bugs, mold, power, water and internet outages at some point during your stay. We consider it part of the fun of experiencing another country and culture. All of these issues are beyond the control of the homeowner and the management company and may come without advance notice. If having internet access is imperative during your visit, we recommend you research internet data plans available to you through your cellular provider. The Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities. As such, much of the area will have noise from construction typically between the hours of 6am and 5pm. We do our best to update our properties impacted by construction, however, we are not always provided advance notice of a project. The septic system in the Nosara area does not permit flushing of toilet paper with few exceptions. If you have any questions at all, please contact us in advance of booking your stay as refunds and concessions will not be given for any of the reasons above as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please be aware that, as with many beach communities, petty theft is a common issue in the Nosara area. Your safety and well-being is a top priority for us, so please assist us by taking the following steps.

Keep doors and windows locked, and if applicable, security bars in place for sliding doors and windows when you are away from the property and at night. If you are unable to locate the bars for the sliding doors and windows, please contact us as soon as possible.

Do not leave any valuables or personal items out when you leave the house. This includes electronics, identification documents and anything else of apparent monetary value.

Do not leave valuables in your car when you are out and about.

Do not leave anything unattended on your front or back patios.

Always set the security alarm (if available) when you leave the property, even if it is for a short time.

While the presence of a security guard is not included with your rental, we would be happy to outsource a security guard for your stay. Please let us know during the initial booking process if you would like a hired guard and the hours you would like covered.
