ABOUT CASA TIBURON

Casa Tiburon is a beautifully converted eco luxury container casita located in Playa Guiones. The casita is tucked away in some of the last remaining virgin jungle in the more quiet and serene part of Guiones, in K section, just a short walk to Bodhi Tree and 10 minutes walk to the surf. The container is a one bedroom with sleeping loft, perfect for couples who want to enjoy a private get away or families traveling with young children.

The casita is situated on a large piece of beautifully landscaped land, with fruit trees, veggies, flowers and palms. The villa also has a roof top herb garden which guests are welcome to take advantage of in their culinary explorations.

Casa Tiburon is a permaculture work in progress that strives to balance the comforts of luxury accommodation with closed system sustainability and harmonious existence with the surrounding jungle.

The casita has a large indoor/outdoor bathroom that drains into a grey water system which we use to nurture our fruits, vegetables, and herbs during the long dry months. It also has a very clean COMPOST TOILET that is serviced daily to ensure comfort and a bug free environment.

Casa Tiburon is located at the bottom of a steep driveway that is accessible by car, shuttle, golf cart, and quad. There are two parking spots available at the front gate of the property. The neighborhood is walkable but the beach is a ten minute walk away. You may be more comfortable renting a vehicle for your stay.

Casa Tiburon is tucked away in the quiet, residential part of K section in Playa Guiones. It is a short walk to Bodhi Tree and their new Bodhi Surf Club and Cafe. It is also about a ten minute walk to Baker’s Beach, where many beginners enjoy surfing.

We recommend renting a golf cart, ATV or automobile to get around. Many of the best restaurants are located in North Guiones which is just a couple minutes drive away but a 20 minute walk through the jungle paths.

Pet friendly, there is a non refundable pet cleaning fee of $100. Please check with the host.
