ABOUT COZY BEACH CASITA
The casita is a two story A frame with a master bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen and glass enclosed living area located on the first floor. There is AC located in the living area and master bedroom. There is not AC located in the loft area, it also has ceiling fans located throughout.
ON THE INSIDE
Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is located on the first floor of the home. It includes AC, ceiling fan, Smart TV with Cable + Netflix.
Kitchen: The quaint kitchen area is fully equipped with essentials needed for a family dinner. There is an AC unit and ceiling fan.
Living Area: The living area is located in the front of the unit, from here you can see and watch wildlife in the trees and passing by. The glass doors open to provide the casita with more of an outdoor feel. The living area is perfect to relax and read a book or drink your morning cup of coffee.
Loft: On the second floor of the home is the loft area, with 3 twin sized beds and 2 ceiling fans.
ON THE OUTSIDE
There is a small unfurnished patio area in the front of the home.
This casita is not dog friendly.
QUIRKS OF THE HOME
Unfortunately because of the nature of the stairs we cannot welcome toddlers or younger children. A few of the stairs to the loft area can be steep and ladder like. We also do not recommend groups traveling with multiple elderly guests or guests with mobility issues.. The house is very safe and secure, however, as we are a tourist destination, petty theft can exist as it does in any tourist destination in the world. Be sure to lock all valuables and do not leave belongings unattended. Private security is available at an additional cost. There is 1 cleaning per week included for weekly rentals, additional cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost. We can also arrange in-house private chef services on your behalf.
While the infrastructure in Costa Rica is improving, it is highly likely that you will experience power, water and internet outages at some point during your stay. We consider it part of the fun of experiencing another country and culture. All of these outages are beyond the control of the homeowner and the management company and may come without advance notice. If having internet access is imperative during your visit, we recommend you research internet data plans available to your through your cellular provider. The Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities. As such, much of the area will have noise from construction typically between the hours of 7am and 5pm. We do our best to update our properties impacted by construction, however, we are not always provided advance notice of a project. If you have any questions at all, please contact us in advance of booking your stay as refunds and concessions will not be given for any of the reasons above as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. Please be aware that, as with many beach communities, petty theft is a common issue in the Nosara area. Your safety and well-being is a top priority for us, so please assist us by taking the following steps.
Keep doors and windows locked, and if applicable, security bars in place for sliding doors and windows when you are away from the property and at night. If you are unable to locate the bars for the sliding doors and windows, please contact us as soon as possible.
Do not leave any valuables or personal items out when you leave the house. This includes electronics, identification documents and anything else of apparent monetary value.
Do not leave valuables in your car when you are out and about.
Do not leave anything unattended on your front or back patios.
Always set the security alarm when you leave the property, even if it is for a short time.
While the presence of a security guard is not included with your rental, we would be happy to outsource a security guard for your stay at the cost of $10 per hour + 13% service fee. Please let us know during the initial booking process if you would like a hired guard and the hours you would like covered. Your safety is a top priority at Rent Nosara and we appreciate your effort in taking these steps to ensure an uneventful, memorable stay.

RENTAL RULES AND CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY FOR ARRIVAL LESS THAN 48 HOURS (2 DAYS) FROM BOOKING. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A RESERVATION FOR ARRIVAL WITHIN 48 HOURS, PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO BOOKING TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY.
The Rental Party is responsible for any transaction fees that might take place during a wire transfer.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Any and all damage caused by Rental Party or excessive cleaning required is to be taken from the damage deposit. If the damage deposit does not cover total cost of damages, Rental Party is responsible for making payment for the difference.
Home and property are privately owned; the Owner(s) and Manager(s) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owner(s) are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Rental Party understands that they may experience power outages, water outages, internet failures and dust during their stay. Additionally, the Nosara region is undergoing a growth phase resulting in an increase in construction. It is likely you will experience construction noise during your stay. The presence of insects in a home is not uncommon with the environment in Costa Rica. Owner and Manager(s) are not responsible beyond what they cannot control. If you have any concerns, contact Manager prior to booking.
Check in time is between the hours of 4PM and 9PM. Any arrival after 9PM will result in a $100 late check in fee. Late checkout may be available by request. Requests must be received by the Rent Nosara group chat 24 hours in advance of your designated checkout day and time. Any guest who stays beyond the designated departure time without prior approval will forfeit their deposit. No exceptions. Thank you for helping us timely prepare the home for the next arrival.
Smoking is NOT allowed inside any unit. Smoking is allowed outside only.
People other than those in the guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
Only use appliances for their intended uses.
Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.
Bathroom towels from the home are not to be taken to the beach.
Keys: Rental Party agrees to return all keys immediately upon checkout. Failure to do so will result in a $150 charge.
Rental Party agrees not to use the premises for any and all improper purposes nor permit any disturbances to the surrounding inhabitants, neighbors, or nature areas.
