ABOUT CASA ANANDA

Casa Ananda is a newly constructed home located in the K section of Playa Guiones. This property is made up of three private casitas, one main house with a loft, a salt water pool, a private yoga rancho and a large and luscious garden! The Bali inspired design sits perfectly in the jungles of Costa Rica. This home sleeps up to 8 people, all with their own private space and air conditioning. This private oasis is perfect for a large family gathering or even a small retreat.

LOCATION IS EVERYTHING

The K section of Guiones is one of the most desirable rental locations. This neighborhood is primarily residential which allows you to enjoy the quiet time away from the more trafficked areas. That said, you are still just steps away from the beach and a short drive (or a 15 minute walk) to the restaurants and shops! The closest beach entrance, Baker’s Beach, is best known for its mellow waves and community sunset gatherings.

ON THE INSIDE

The main house of Casa Ananda is where you will find the communal areas such as the kitchen and living space. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your family and friends! Not in the mood to cook? Let us book a private chef for you and your group and try some of the amazing authentic dishes that Costa Rica has to offer. The main house also contains a sleeping area in the loft with a half bath. There is not a full bathroom in the main house.

In addition to the main house, there are three separate casitas each equipped with a king sized bed, a large ensuite bathroom with plenty of closet space, a safe, air conditioning, a private outdoor shower and best of all, a large balinese bathtub! The casitas also have the ability to be opened up entirely with surrounding glass doors, or kept private with the floor length curtains.

ON THE OUTSIDE

Casa Ananda has one of the most spacious gardens you will find in the area! Spend your time relaxing in the salt water pool between surf lessons and yoga classes. Like to practice yoga on your own? This property comes with it’s own private yoga shala!

The wall surrounding the property gives you the privacy you need to enjoy your time away from the excitement of Nosara. There is plenty of parking within the property wall.

LOCAL QUIRKS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA

While the infrastructure in Costa Rica is improving, it is highly likely that you will experience dust, bugs, mold, power, water and internet outages at some point during your stay. We consider it part of the fun of experiencing another country and culture. All of these issues are beyond the control of the homeowner and the management company and may come without advance notice. If having internet access is imperative during your visit, we recommend you research internet data plans available to you through your cellular provider. The Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities. As such, much of the area will have noise from construction typically between the hours of 6am and 5pm. We do our best to update our properties impacted by construction, however, we are not always provided advance notice of a project. The septic system in the Nosara area does not permit flushing of toilet paper with few exceptions. If you have any questions at all, please contact us in advance of booking your stay as refunds and concessions will not be given for any of the reasons above as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please be aware that, as with many beach communities, petty theft is a common issue in the Nosara area. Your safety and well-being is a top priority for us, so please assist us by taking the following steps.

Keep doors and windows locked, and if applicable, security bars in place for sliding doors and windows when you are away from the property and at night. If you are unable to locate the bars for the sliding doors and windows, please contact us as soon as possible.
Do not leave any valuables or personal items out when you leave the house. This includes electronics, identification documents and anything else of apparent monetary value.
Do not leave valuables in your car when you are out and about.
Do not leave anything unattended on your front or back patios.
Always set the security alarm when you leave the property, even if it is for a short time.

While the presence of a security guard is not included with your rental, we would be happy to outsource a security guard for your stay. Please let us know during the initial booking process if you would like a hired guard and the hours you would like covered. Your safety is a top priority at Rent Nosara and we appreciate your effort in taking these steps to ensure an uneventful, memorable stay.

*Please note that even following all precautionary measures, there is always a risk of theft in the Nosara area. Owner and Property Manager are not responsible for loss of items due to theft.*

RENTAL RULES AND CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY FOR ARRIVAL LESS THAN 48 HOURS (2 DAYS) FROM BOOKING. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A RESERVATION FOR ARRIVAL WITHIN 48 HOURS, PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO BOOKING TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY.

A refundable damage deposit will be held on your credit card and released 7 days after departure assuming there is no damage caused to the property. In the event payment is by wire transfer or PayPal, payment of the damage deposit will be required 5 days before the arrival date and released 7 days after the departure date, assuming there is no damage to the property. Lack of timely payment of the damage deposit will result in cancellation without refund.

Do not flush toilet paper or any other paper products in the toilet. A bin will be present in the bathrooms for disposal of all paper products. This is due to the septic system in the Nosara area and not specific to the property you are renting.

Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Any and all damage caused by Rental Party or excessive cleaning required is to be taken from the damage deposit. If the damage deposit does not cover total cost of damages, Rental Party is responsible for making payment for the difference.

Home and property are privately owned; the Owner(s) and Manager(s) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owner(s) are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Rental Party understands that they may experience dust, mold, power outages, water outages, and internet failures during their stay. Additionally, the Nosara region is undergoing a growth phase resulting in an increase in construction. It is likely you will experience construction noise during your stay. The presence of insects in a home is not uncommon with the environment in Costa Rica. Owner and Manager(s) are not responsible beyond what they cannot control. If you have any concerns, contact Manager prior to booking.

Check in time is between the hours of 4PM and 9PM. Any arrival after 9PM will result in a $100 late check in fee if in-person check in is required. Late checkout may be available by request. Requests must be received by the Rent Nosara group chat 24 hours in advance of your designated checkout day and time. Any guest who stays beyond the designated departure time without prior approval will forfeit their deposit. No exceptions. Thank you for helping us timely prepare the home for the next arrival.

Smoking is NOT allowed inside any unit. Smoking is allowed outside only.

People other than those in the guest party may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.

Only use appliances for their intended uses.

Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only (if available).

Bathroom towels from the home are not to be taken to the beach.

Keys: Rental Party agrees to return all keys immediately upon checkout. Failure to do so will result in a $150 charge.

Rental Party agrees not to use the premises for any and all improper purposes nor permit any disturbances to the surrounding inhabitants, neighbors, or nature areas.
